Is it true that Doris Ragland, Harry's mother-in-law, has served time in prison?

    No, it is not true. What is true is that racists are so fearful and ignorant that they have a need to say that Ms. Ragland, Doria, not Doris, is an ex-con, simply because she is African American.

    There is something wrong with a group of people who have a need to portray all African-Americans as criminal.

  • Doris Ragland, whoever that is, may well have served time in prison but, Doria Ragland most definitely hasn't.

    No. She would not have got a license to practise as a social worker if she has had a custodial sentence. Jail terms are a matter of public record so even the least enterprising of shitstirrers would have produced some evidence by now if it was true.

  • It is very unlikely. Doria Ragland is a registered social worker in California where a criminal record would usually be a disqualification. Meanwhile, nobody has produced any evidence that she has been to prison and you'd think that if she had, it would be quite an easy thing to prove.
