I'm very happy that you asked this specific question.

There are 4 substances that cause liver inflammation enough to cause liver dysfunction WHEN CONSUMED REGULARLY. They are listed from most toxic to less.

    1. Alcohol

2 Fructose not 'mitigated by the fiber in whole foods AKA sugar,  HFCS,  honey,  nectar,  juice,  syrups and white flour products.

    3. Trans fats (margarine,  Crisco,  fake cheese, hydrogenated oil)

    4. Branched chain amino acids (from corn-fed animal products)

NOW you understand why the US was 'hit so hard' by COVID-19.

P.S. This is also the cause of 85% of obesity,  diabetes II,  most heart disease and hypothyroidism,  acne and IBS.

Quitting sugar is the cure for most obesity and prevention of diabetes II and most heart disease.

Those over-the-counter 99 cent energy shots which contain yohimbe can cause kidney and liver failure! Just because it's cheap and over the counter does it mean that it's safe
