It is very possible in the future a joint venture will be arranged and all the governments will be left out in the cold when it does happen.

    Zero,

There is no private space agency with the trillion dollars necessary to make it happen.

Very little ,as there would be no rational chance of a financial return for them .

As with all space flights , however, private companies will be intimately involved in the technologies incorporated into , and construction of the vehicles, involved.

None.  What's the payback for them?  they can't claim Mars as their own under International law.

Not good. Space X has contracts with NASA, and Tesla and Musk may be declaring bankruptcy. Colonizing Mars was always a pipe dream, as I have said from the beginning.

Tesla has gone public, so Musk did get financial backing from somewhere or someone. One share of Tesla stock is around $800.
