I've seen one swallow a whole KFC bone before and I've seen chicken eat live mice too. Not sure my marshmallows would kill it though

A human can die from eating a marshmallow. Do you know they are made of? Birds should never be fed sugar. Marshmallows are not bird food.

I think seagulls eat nearly everything. They are scavengers and almost like sea rats (but of course have pretty feathers). I would not worry about a marshmallow, but I wouldn't feed a bunch of them since this would not be part of their normal diet.

If a seagull ate a plastic shopping bag, it might die from its intestines becoming twisted or blocked. These are the sort of things that are killing sea and marine life throughout the planet.

This article includes information on the diet of seagulls, and even notes they can eat human refuse.

They can also take clams and drop them on rocks in order to get to the meat inside the shells.

    Interesting seagull facts:

If you are still interested in their diet, you an look it up, or contact the DNR.
