William is the wise choice because there is a chance the Camilla woman will outlive HM and the Scots are already not too too thrilled with The Windsors...

The Presbyterian church is more conservative than The CoE. In America the same is still true of Presbyterian and Episcopal. The Cambridges are a better fit than The Cornwalls. We Congregationalists, for what it's worth, are wholly behind Team Cambridge.

No, the next monarch of the U.K is not decided by the reigning monarch.

Nothing to do with Charles being the next monarch. Charles will be king by law.

No not at all, the queen has no power to change the succession, that requires an act of parliament.

The head of the Church of Scotland is the monarch.  William is just her current representative when a General assembly is held.

Charles held that that position in 2000

The Princess Royal, The Earl of Inverness (Andrews Scottish title) and The Earl of Forfar (Edwards Scottish title) have also held the position

No; the Queen has not made William head of the Scottish Church, which is HER role--the monarch's role. Prince William has been made Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly where  he will act as the sovereign's personal representative at the annual meetings.

The Queen gives the royals different jobs---Charles is the heir and the next monarch; there has been no Act of Parliament to remove Charles from succession and there will not be. Charles has already been assuming roles of the monarch that the Queen has given him--William is learning the job and she just chose to give this position to her grandson.

That can't happen as the act of succession states that Charles will be the next King
