Why do liberals stereotype Trump supporters as uneducated hicks?
Didn't that hurt Hillary's campaign last time? When she referred to Trump's base as "a basket of deplorables," she alienated many voters, causing many undecided voters to support Trump. Do Democrats really see this type of divisive language as a winning strategy this year?
Oh, and I'm an Independent who doesn't support Trump. I'm just a realist.

Why? Because deep down - they obviously never want to win another election.

They prefer to believe that because they think they are smarter and we are resisting their efforts to save us from ourselves. I've got two degrees, one of which I earned with a perfect 4.0.

When I see the statistics showing the highest % of school dropouts and on welfare are Democrats I find little reason for liberals to stereotype Trump supporters as uneducated hicks.

LIBERALS ALWAYS THINK THEY ARE SMARTER THAN ANYONE ELSE BUT MOST OF THE TIME, THEY ARE NOT

It's a logical fallacy known as "I'm right, you're stupid." Liberals are so convinced their message is the ONE TRUE WAY, that anybody who disagrees with them is stupid, or didn't understand the message, or a fundamentalist, or is simply "deplorable."
Liberals just have a very difficult time with those who disagree with them. If you doubt this assertion, just compare the number of "never Trumpers" with "never Obamaers." Oh wait, there were no "never Obamaers."

You're confusing liberals with leftists who love painting those who dont agree with them as evil bigots even though it's the left who by and large are the ones acting with totalitarian instincts who want to stamp out free speech for everyone but themselves.

You just stereotyped ''liberals'' yourself. Not all liberals have these stereotypes, and those that do have them, have probably seen only uneducated hicks supporting Trump, so they have no other frame of reference.

It's possible that that didn't help, but you have to admit, surely, incredulity that poor people would vote for an incompetent billionaire who clearly has nothing in common with them and is a psychopath, who can only be out for his own interests?

Good point. The left hates Trump with the heat of a thousand suns. Their hatred of Trump almost forces them to insult and degrade anyone who supports Trump.
Liberals who stereotype Trump supporters as uneducated hicks think their education is more important than wisdom. It's true; statistically, leftists tend to have more classroom education. However. Trump supporters are people of wisdom. They know how to make the world function better. They are the ones who carry guns and never use them. They go to church to learn wisdom. They are the mechanics, the tradesmen, plumbers, bakers, housewives ... These people make things, fix things, clean things, and keep America running. Those are the people Trump is taking away from the democrats.
You go to Trump's rallies. Trump talks to the nosebleed seats. He praises the people democrats insult. People of wisdom (Hillary's irredeemable basket of deplorables) who know their value in the world. GO TRUMP MAGA 2020.

The only one referring to “uneducated hicks” here is you.
She said “basket of deplorables”
YOU are assuming that means “uneducated hicks” because that’s the way YOU view Trump supporters apparently.
Shame on you.
When she said “basket of deplorables” she was referring to ALL Republican supporters of Trump, not just the “uneducated hicks” that you are pulling out of thin air here.
I guess you have a problem with hard-working people with families from rural and other areas of the United States who always had to work hard from a young age and didn’t have the time or economic freedom to get a college diploma.
These people are truly “the salt of the earth.”
You’re quite the elitist, aren’t you?
