Why does alcohol not give me any confidence ?

I’m quiet as my normal personality, but I can drink alcohol and not change one bit. I still stay quiet but can be intoxicated. Most people get more confident and loud when drunk but yea I don’t change at all. What could be the reason ?

People don't get "confident" when they get drunk. They just forget to be shy and inhibited.

And not everyone gets loud when they get drunk.

    You should be thankful

Alcohol effects everyone differently. it is a depressant that acts like a stimulant in many cases but not all cases. I am a quiet drinker too, don't feel the need to howl at the moon and be generally obnoxious when I over indulge occasionally.

Normal and not a bad thing IMO.

Perhaps booze doesn't agree with you.

You’re not drinking enough. Put down the fùcking Zima and pound some rum.
