My QuickTime video says "Error -43: a file could not be found". Can I fix it?
They played fine on the camera, but when I cut and pasted them onto my computer, QuickTime wouldn't open them all.
It popped up with "Error -43: a file could not be found", and:
"QuickTimePlayerMain: QuickTimePlayer.exe - Corrupt File. The file or directory _______ backed up on _______ is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility.
Which I believe I have done...
Can my videos be salvaged do you think, or is there no hope?
Yes, I have a very recent version of QuickTime Pro.
The files are .movs, which is the standard format in QuickTime.
