Hello, I'm a Brit and went to LA last yr and really enjoyed, but soon have my trip to Vegas I just want to triple check in case I have missed something for my trip that I need by law to be there etc. OK so I have passport, travel insurance, ESTA check (visa Waiver Program which I purchased for Last July and understand lasts two years so don't need a visa so think I don't need to do anything more with this although will take paper copy of it), currency, hotel and plane bookings, luggage, trips to and from airports, activities sorted, phone and new sim for USA to use also for navigation if need. I have everything printed and ready, please could someone confirm I have everything and there isn't something I am forgetting (just wanna be sure I have everything in order) Thanks in advance

  • I’m flying into the UK, and I’m worried about customs. How do I know if I have “goods to declare”?

Does that apply to my luggage or carry on at all, or is it referring to something else?

  • Can you take food in your checked luggage?

Best answer: You can take dry foods (such as granola bars) in your carry on or checked luggage. You can take fresh fruit in your carry on, so long as it is consumed prior to your reaching the United States. You can not take fresh fruit/vegetables (or flowers) into another country, and probably prohibited even for Americans to... show more

I only had one suitcase, and I checked it in. Throughout my entire trip, the airlines had multiple delays, flight changes, gate changes, cancellations, etc. Once I got to my final destination, my luggage wasn’t on the belt and I had to file a form for missing luggage with Emirates. Two and a half days later, my luggage still isn’t here. I already filled out a inventory form. I’m just pissed because I packed so minimaly, that I needed everything in my suitcase and now I’ve been having to buy a bunch of stuff to keep me grounded until my luggage comes, which I don’t even know if it’s ever going to come. I haven’t even gone out anywhere because I don’t have any clothes, hair products, jewelry, I have nothing. Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do? A similar experience? Anything helpful? I’m also curious if the airline would provide reimbursement since I can’t do anything without clothes.
