Best answer: It is your decision if you want to have your sons ears pierced and there is nothing wrong with having them pierced. I also think that you are making the right decision by wanting to get both of his ears pierced rather than just the one. I love to see a baby boy with pierced ears and I hope it becomes as popular as piercing a baby girls ears.

I had my sons left ear pierced when he was a newborn at the same time as I had his twin sisters ears pierced but afterwards wished that I had pierced both of his ears. His right ear didn't look right without a stud in it so as soon as their ears had healed I had his right ear pierced and a second hole pierced in his left ear at the same time as I had his twin sisters ears double pierced.
Almost all of my friends with boys had their ears pierced when they were babies as well.

Ear piercing is getting very popular for young boys and where we live most boys have at least one ear pierced by the time they start playschool with a lot having both ears pierced. By the same age it is unusual if a girl hasn't had her ears pierced at least twice with a lot having several earrings in each ear (my daughters included).

I work part time in a jewellers and we have a lot of baby boys being brought in to have their ears pierced. I always encourage the parents to have both ears pierced rather than just the one although I still think it is better to pierce one ear than not having a baby boys ears pierced at all. On an average day I would say we have two or three baby boys having their ears pierced and also a few toddler boys getting pierced and it is definitely easier to pierce a baby's ears than a toddler. We have no age limits for ear piercing and frequently have newborn babies being pierced. Provided that the parents want their children to have pierced ears we will pierced them at any age and however many times they want.

Are you concerned about what others will say when they see your son with earrings or are you worried that he might be mistaken for a girl?. In our area because almost all the girls have at least two holes pierced in each ear it is easy to tell which are boys or girls - have you considered having the girls ears pierced more than once.

I hope that you go ahead and have your sons ears pierced - I am sure you will love it when you see him with earrings. Let us know if you have his done.

  • What is sexier....nude/tan or black pantyhose?

Best answer: They're both incredibly sexy and feminine. And I mean the blow-your-load-(and your mind)-on-the-spot kind of sexy. The only difference is that black pantyhose, and black tights even more so, add an extra touch of warmth and femininity (note that I'm not equating femininity with sexiness here) to any outfit. But honestly, if you wear either, you'll automatically place yourself in the top 0.1% of American women when it comes to classiness, sexiness, and femininity. And, as an added bonus, if you wear either, but especially tan pantyhose, men will think you're the perfect marriage and housewife material. Crazy how pantyhose has the ability to make you look ultra-sexy and traditional and conservative at the same time! On a side note, I've never acquired a taste for cuban heels. To me, they look dirty and smelly, but not in a good way, and especially on tan stockings, and something's visually off with the way they look, at least to my eyes. I think they in a way ruin the sex appeal. Back seams, on the other hand, are great, but that's really just too much sexiness that's best reserved for a few rare occasions. Also, some guys on here are trying to steer you toward stockings instead of pantyhose. My take on that is, stockings are almost (a very close runner up) as good as pantyhose, but they only make sense to wear if you want to add a touch of timeless, vintage sexiness to your style. If that's you, then go for it, and you'll have a lot of fun with them. If not, I don't see the point, unless you just want to wear them to look sexy, which they abundantly are, but then why not get the same result by wearing pantyhose? If you do ever wear some stockings for a change of pace, enjoy the process by also buying some classy, high-quality garter belts.

A bonus tip: If you have a normal (average) figure, try this for a cute sexy-around-the-house look: Black classic pumps (closed, shiny, not too pointy; small peeptoes work nicely as well) with black, reinforced toe pantyhose (the Hanes Silk Reflections brand is amazing for the price) and black leggings (try the Express Sexy Leggings; they're very soft) over them. The ultimate in warmth and femininity. Or, for an even more casual look and something you can wear everywhere, you can replace the leggings with a pair of medium blue jeans that fit you like the leggings (has to be snug around the ankles). Do that, and you won't be able to shake men off.

  • Today are pantyhose considered unisex?

Best answer: No, they are not unisex. They are a woman's undergarment. That does not mean that guys can't wear them under their clothes or at home though. There are even companies who make them for men, they are called mantyhose or something like that. People are a lot more liberal with things like cross dressing today,... show more

From a woman's point of view, it's a little creepy, but it isn't a big deal. It's only clothes.

I don't want to look like I'm going to a fancy wedding or something, just nice and professional. The normal everyday work wear for this type of industry is usually jeans and a decent looking top. But of course I want to dress to impress for my interview.
