• What is it like using a cab app like Uber or Lyft?

Is it awkward and quiet... and do they expect you to sit in the passenger seat or in the back? I'm an awkward guy at 35 with this pretty solidified in my brain, so I'm trying to get familiar with this uncharted territory.

  • Another really dumb question about cars/finance?

You know when they have that "pre-approval" link on the website and you input all the numbers, esp. when the dealer is a ways away, but has the exact car you want. Does your rating take a hit for this?

  • Girls: Is this a rejection to you?

You ask a guy out to somewhere, and he goes, "You wouldn't want to go out with me, I'm a bankrupt loser," and leaves it at that. Is that a rejection? You ask him out to a movie and he goes, "I don't really go to movies. I'm an agoraphobic." Is that a rejection?

  • Dumbest question for a DDS under the sun... Would a dentist ever do this?

I'm literally strapped for cash to all-get-out... and have an obvious cavity in my left upper molar. No insurance. Would a dentist simply remove the whole molar for me, since it would cost a fraction of what it would cost to drill and fill? This is actually not a fake question unfortunately. I would rather this done before it gets infected... show more

If you get fired in the middle of a pay period, with one week already in the books... is your employer LEGALLY obligated to give you the money for those hours worked? I know this question sounds so dumb, but I need to hear a voice other than my own, as it were.

  • Is this true about bankruptcy (in a certain chapter)?

You get to keep ONE car, even if this car is through a secured loan/debt? I mean... obviously bankruptcy would do me no good if I lose my one mode of transportation and can't make it to work and make $0 a month.

  • Can you ID this movie just based on its likely title?

A friend told me about one of her favorite movies but I forgot the name of it. Wanted to research it before I watch it with her and her friends. I guess it's from late 80's or early 90's, something like "Nothing but Trouble," but not that movie. A similar title. If I read the title I'll remember the name for sure. Thank you! show more

  • Is there a chapter of bankruptcy that...?

Is there a chapter of bankruptcy that allows you to keep what you have in savings? I'm no expert but I've HEARD that in order to file for bankruptcy of some kind you have to dump a majority percentage of what you have in the bank savings/checking to those who you owe before the rest is forgiven. Is this really true?
