You don't want to rush him into things and Sivivatu is way too valuable to leave on the bench. His time will come.

The French are the only team on tour that can beat the ABs.
So the coaches have picked our best team, even though he is a good player, Jane has more big game experience and a very established, wide range of skills and is by far the inform winger to date.
This is not a matter of opinion, Jane has played super rugby for a long time, and as a full back will be better placed to anticipate counter attacks and shallow chips.
Dont worry Zac will be around for a very long time.
If it was me Id have Zac instead of Sivi, only due to sivi's frailty on defence and not his attacking ability,
Its great have this dilemma, it means we have depth.

Simply because Jane is a class act and Sivi is irrepressible when he's on form , and he seems to be hitting that now. Zac was picked to "develope" on this tour and has done so very well ; better than I thought he would. His day in the sun will come sometime without doubt , but he's still a bit "green" regarding defensive play/positioning ( as someone mentioned Mils was talking to him a lot during the game) and France is not the team to give him a run against.

I don't think he played that well in his second outing....he dropped the ball and looked out to lunch a few times (he was actually a bit of a butter fingers).

Basically it's Cory Jane or him. I think at the moment I'd pick Jane simply because France in Marseille will be the hardest game of the tour. Jane is better under pressure, is better under the high ball, has broken more tackles than Zachery and has an extra season in the All Blacks and the All Blacks systems.

Jane is better suited to the type of attack that France will use, and has looked to know the defensive patterns of the All Blacks. Jane has 6 years of first class and super-rugby on ZG.

There were times against England when ZG was taking instructions on position from Mils--and you can't do that against France. Mils had to come in at least twice to cover a hole when Guildford was too wide. Guildford looked panicked at times as well when he was in a one-on-one or back-against-back situation, with no forward cover. You don't want to have to tutor the guy on the field if you can help it.

He is only 20 and hasn't proven himself yet under pressure--he was in high--school a couple of years ago and that's just too much of a risk to play against France.

He was only ever on the tour to be blooded to be honest and can count himself lucky that he played against England--but got the nod after a good first test against Wales.

Personally I'm not convinced by these people who are talking Guildford up as the next Kirwan--there are lots of good wingers in NZ--Rudi Wulf, Tamati Ellison can cover wing, Cory Jane, Hosea Gear, Joe Rocokoko, Sivivatu, Masaga, and who knows what winger is waiting in the wings from the NZ rugby factory?

Nothing Guildford has done this tour has really set him over and above those guys. I've not seen him do something and thought: "Gee Hosea Gear couldn't do that". Yeah he's a good player, and he'll mature, but the next Kirwan? I'll believe it when I see it. If you believed the hype Isaia Toeava should be a superstar right now--the best player in the world....but he can't even make baggage carrier now.

Cory Jane also has shown he`s got the goods, and gets the nod ,because of his extra experience in a big game situation, Zac is younger and has plenty of time ahead.
And ,dropping Sitiveni Sivivatu is totally out of the question, he is the best winger in the world, bar none.

Because besides taking a couple of high balls he has done not much, I would have Jane any day over Zak. He should have not gone on tour he lacks big game experience and he has been found out as international Rugby is alot different to NPC, In fact take out Richie and Carter and we look like Aussie very average. Bigger question what is Read doing in the ABs he must be the worse AB no8 in history.

'Cause he's still a boy , and this weekends game is for men. His turn to be the incumbent will come next year after he has a few more tests under his belt. This is the toughest test the ABs face this year so the battle hardened are required on the paddock!

bcause the crazy all black coaches will once again go with experience the talent/form thus selecting sivivatu instead of guildford which is such a shame

Simply because Sitivini Sivivatu is a world class winger and Cory Jane has earned his spot through consistent impressive performances, Zac will get his chance

Where was the good showing from him? He's had 2 runs I think and always rushes up in defence leaving massive gaps. Cory Jane is miles better than him - and dropping Sivivatu is out of the question.

because cory jane is also a top player. hes shown by far the most improvement out of the entire all black squad so far. we need to give him a run as well.

His last showing was not the greatest. To play france we need our best players. Cory Jane is the man for that task.
