Apart from New Zealanders, who else will be supporting NZ at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in SA?

Since I know you now ..well, from our Yahoo Answers connection..I'll certainly be thinking of you and, although my first choice will be USA, my second will be NZ. Can't breath a word of this to my Father who's from Italy though...LOL!

The last time NZ made the World Cup was way back in 1982. To be fair rugby and cricket are our 2 mains sports. Rugby is part of our culture.

Many English fans will and fans of the teams that Kiwis play for outside of New Zealand .

I don't expect the kiwis to progess out of the group stages and all the Kiwis I know (and I know loads of them) are realistic enough to know they won't either however I hope they get at least a draw against one of the sides they have to play...a win would be fantastic for them.

I certainly don't expect New Zealand to get beat 20 nil in each game like some of the more irrational posters have suggested...no Ryan Nelsen lead defense would bleed that badly...heck no defense in the top 100 nations would.

I'm Argentinean (lived in NZ for more than 3 years) and I will supporting New Zealand in the World Cup. My family in Argentina will also support the All Whites in the World Cup next year.

Not everyone will be supporting us. I probably wont even watch any of our games. Although I've got a little more faith than someone else here and think they should progress from the group stages depending on the group we get..
