Is the quality of a golf club made out of the same components as good from china as the united states?

"your assistant" is dead wrong. The Best components come from Taiwan, where the best forger in the world is located. They make the Callaway Forged, Taylormade RAC MB TP's, and the Titelist forged clubs. All the shafts, True Temper, and Rifle, are made in, Mississippi.

China makes JUNK!

It doesn't really matter anymore. Few companies completely make their clubs in the US anymore- Asia is the hotspot for that. Scratch Golf and some Ping lines are ones that I know of (hopefully there's more, those are the only two I can think of off the top of my head) made in the US.

A taylormade Burner driver head will be the same, regardless. Now, if you see a head that says "Heater", and looks strikingly like a Burner- be wary. It was cast from the same mold (more than likely, in the same factories- companies are trying to rein those counterfeiters in), but with lesser quality metals.

Yes, and all the clubs are better than the very BEST clubs Nicholas had when he won over 70 tournaments on the PGA tour. So, just get a set and remember you cant buy a swing but you can earn one with knowledge and practice. After 20,000 balls, come back and ask what club is the best. You will already be hitting in your 70's
