No, he`s not up to the required standard.
he hasn`t been for a couple of seasons now, and has been given more chances than most , to redeem himself, but hasn`t.

Roco should be by his experience but the lack of structure that results from the mindless kicking away of the ball has phased out his ability to play the game he was good at the public want to see. Hence less tries these days. Some years back wingers were phased out by the demand they come in off their wing to make play. Take Jane he is a spare parts winger but has the ability to jump for the high bomb because of his fullback experience ( defence, hence less tires)

Chillout, he is never coming back, he will play for top dollar in the north or possibly Japan while he can still sign for top dollar - A fantastic wing before all those little niggling injuries started to cause him to be stood down and miss key games and match ups - and lets face it, we are not exactly going to be short of talent for the next world cup.

Time for Joe to be put out to pasture and earn some big bucks while he still can.

Under normal circumstances, neither him or Sitiveni Sivivatu should be.

Neither of them know the forwards game well enough and give away stupid mindless penalties at the breakdown by grabbing the ball when its clearly not out. They join rucks and mauls from the side and their handling is not good enough to gloss over those potentially game losing errors. How many times have either of them dropped the ball with a clear line?

Unfortunately, our squad is so lacking in experience, anyone with a decent number of caps under his belt is going to make the team. I think now is the time to be blooding new players in preparation for the world cup. Zac Guilford is a good start but when we're going on tour where the games mean nothing, we should take as many new kids as possible.

No, I think Jane is doing well there. On the other wing I hope Guilford will usurp Sivivatu as well. Those 2 young guys did really well on the weekend.
The sad thing is most people now comment and seem to remember Joe as a has been. If he had missed selection when he should have, people would remember him as an awesome player.

No!! He was extremely lucky to get so much game time, and I don't know why Henry persisted with him for so long, considering its been more than 2 years since he performed. Remind me where Auckland came in the Air NZ Cup?. There are plenty of inform wings in New Zealand who missed out on the AB UK tour, that desrve to be in theABs.

No. Too loose, handling not great, Lost the ability to break tackles and hold on to the ball. Zac Guilford is the man of the future. What a covering tackle by him that saved the ABs a certain try.

No but he should have been let go earlier not on the eve of the end of year tour. I felt that was unfair, but what do you expect of Henry and co!
