Show me another »Why do people lie about having kids?
I've bumped into quite a few people who lie about this. Particularly young people who claim they have kids at an early age and whatever. But to me that seems like something serious to lie about, is there some kind of psychological thing? Or they're looking for sympathy? What's up with that?

Sorry if it was confusing... These people actually do not have kids, but state they had one at an early age... i've encountered it a number of times.

Not sure I understand your question. If they claim to have kids at an early age, is that the lie, or saying they do not have kids?
