4x-10=x-1

x=3,y=2

so the point T is (3,2)

the equation of the line with gradient -2/3 that passes through point T is

y=-2/3(x-3)+2

y=-2/3x+2+2

y=-2/3x+4

3y=-2x+12

2x+3y-12=0

Answer:a=2 b=3 c=-12.

Find point T.

4x-10=x-1
x=3
y=3-1=2
Therefore they intersect at (3,2)

gradient = slope = -2/3
y=mx+b You have m, x and y. Find b
2=-2/3(3)+b
b=4

y=(-2/3)x+4
move all to one side
(-2/3)x-y+4=0 No fractions are allowed.

multiply by -3
2x+3y-12=0
