Delaney by a country mile. Donald has already proven his inconsistency and erratic play and I'm surprised he was even selected. Weepu with a bung ankle is even better.
Yes this answer does it for me.
Although it looks like Carter will be alright
for the game, Delaney brings excitement to a game and looks to attack at every opportunity, but is no slouch in the defence part of the game.
I think Delaney would be on the bench and they'd blood him if we got a good lead on the Welsh. I reckon they may choose the Italy game if they can, to blood him though and they'll play Donald and Delaney in that game and give Carter a break - just my guess.
Donald is proven (although to be average) at international level, whereas Delaney is not proven yet, so although I like the idea of Delaney having a crack, I think (shudder) I'd pick Donald against the Welsh.
Donald is a tea bag and shouldn't even be there go back to Waikato!! Delaney will rise up if thrown in there and play sensible rugby unlike teabag. They need to blood someone else sooner rather than later, Berquist, Crudden and Slade are all much better than Donald, for starters they can all kick goals and can communicate what they are going to do next.
Agree with Marsbar, Delany gives me more confidence than Donald.
If they don't start him in this test or at least give him half a game then he's just going to end up a bench warmer for the tour.
