Rainbows end theme park and snow planet should be fun for you since you're young.

You could also try Kelly Tarltons and the Zoo, Stardome Observatory.

If you're into art you may aswell go to the Art Gallery, but i haven't been, though i find all Art gallerys boring, lol. If you like art gallerys then go.

You could go horse riding.

Relax in a hot pool.

Check upcoming events and see if anything takes your fancy.

You could go hang gliding blokarting..

You've probbaly gone up the sky tower before.. but you should walk along or jump off it.

Go karting, kayaking, abseling.

Spend a day out at a island like Rangitoto, Great Barrier.. etc.

I'm not sure if you'd like that kind of stuff, but i reckon they'd be more funner for a younger person.

    Hi there.
If you like art, go to the New Gallery. Unfortunately the Auckland Art Gallery has been closed for some time now due to renovations and is unlikely to open until late 2010 - early 2011 - at the earliest I think!

However the New Gallery, which is right oppostite the Auckland Art Gallery is just as good and often offers more of a modern perspective and range of art. There are also some good privately run galleries around the central city on streets like High Street and Lorne Street.

The New Gallery is on the corner of Lorne Street and Wellesley Street, and there are a few other galleries like Oedipus Rex in the immediate vicinity.

Other than that... there isn't really that much to do in Auckland to be honest. But as it's summer, it's always nice to get out to some of the beaches around Auckland and a little further. Picnics are fun.

I recommend going to Rangitoto and walking to the summit, there are great views up there and the walk is interesting to, you get to see volcanic rock around you.

Also, even though you've been a zillion times, I'd say go to the Museum again. I actually work there and there are a lot of things going on, new exhibits and lots of changes.

Spend a day visiting Tiritiri Matangi Bird Sanctuary!

It is an island just off the coast of Auckland and really worth seeing if you are interested in seeing some of New Zealand's rare and endangered birds.

There is also a lovely lighthouse on the island that is one of NZ's oldest towers with an interesting history. The isand is accessable by ferry.

If you dont mind travelling a couple hours and would like to see a Kiwi up close, the Kiwi House at Otorohanga is really worth a visit.

Rainbows End is for NZers who have never been to a real theme park. Don't bother. I went to the art gallery the other day, it was alright. There are quite a few local art galleries in the suburbs, like the Depot in Devonport. I'm not sure what to do with writing, maybe you could go to some lectures at Auckland University.

Go to Long bay for a beach walk

Go over to Waiheke island for a day of fun, got a lot of nice places, shops, cafe's beaches and quirky art galleries.
