Amoxicillian and Tylenol while pregnant?

I think that I might be pregnant, I took a test about a week before my missed period and it was negative. It might have just been too early to tell. I have not taken another since that and I still have not had a period and I was expecting it 1 week ago. If I am pregnant can I take amoxicillian and tylenol. I have a boil and I am in pain and the infection is making me have flu like symptoms. Can someone give me some advice on what to do or what medications I can take if I am pregnant. I had the amoxicillian left over from where I had boil about two months ago.

Tylenol is no problem, as long as it is only taken in the dosage listed on the bottle.

Amoxicillan is also safe during pregnancy BUT you shouldn't have any leftover -you are meant to take the full course as prescribed to prevent the bacteria from becoming antibiotic resistant and recurring. You really need to speak to a doctor about an appropriate course of treatment at this point.

Yeah tylenol is fine.I have to take it almost everyday just to walk.

Both are fine, in moderation.

Im 12 weeks pregnant and have a chest infection. I was prescribed Amoxacillin and was told by the doctor and pharmacist that its penicillin and not harmful to the baby.

Those are both fine, however, you should not take antibiotics unless they are prescribed from your doctor. You can take tylenol in pregnancy.

I'm not sure about the amoxicillin but I do know for a fact you can take tylenol but no asprin! Ask about the antibotics.
