Does the antibiotic Augmentin interfere with the birth control Progestin?

My doctor gave me an antibiotic for a sinus infection and I was wondering if it's going to make my birth control stop working. The antibiotic is Augmentin and the birth control is Progestin.

Ask your pharmacist. They are the experts on drug interactions. You have to see one to get your Augmentin anyway, so use that time to ask questions like these.
